I hated when the ants started storming into the kitchen and attacked everything that they smelled to be delicious. The only safe place to store food was the fridge. But apart from that I feel deep respect for ants – they are tiny, but they don’t understand the notion of impossible.
They work until they can lift the heavy, they go until they can get around the obstacles, they collect until they have enough, they search until they find, they come until they cannot be stopped, they build until they finish, they try until they succeed.
Writers have to face writer’s block with the same undetered, steadfast ambition that the ants possess. There is no other way! Giving up isn’t an option.
